Assign and Manage Tasks

Give every task an owner, a link and notes — then nobody has to ask what or who.

Why it matters: Assignment turns a list into accountability; links and notes remove the friction of finding context.

Before you start

  • Tasks created in your roadmap

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Assign an owner

Pick a user in the Assigned User column for each task.

  2. 2

    Attach context

Add the relevant URL in Link and any specifics in Notes.

  3. 3

    Adjust as needed

Change week, priority or due date inline; select rows and Save Selected Rows.

Expected result

Every task has an owner, a deadline and its context attached.

Helpful tips

  • Assign at the weekly planning meeting so ownership is agreed, not imposed.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving Assign User empty on important tasks — unowned tasks quietly die.

Troubleshooting

A teammate doesn't appear in the list

They need to be part of your account/team — check your plan's user settings or contact support.
