Understand Audit Results

Every column in the Pages table answers a specific ranking question.

Why it matters: Knowing what each metric means turns the table from numbers into a to-do list.

Before you start

  • A completed audit

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Status & indexability

Status is the HTTP response (200 good, 404/500 bad). Indexable tells you whether Google is allowed to rank the page at all.

  2. 2

    Titles & metas

Title Len and Meta Len flag lengths outside optimal ranges — too short wastes relevance, too long truncates in results.

  3. 3

    Content & speed

Words shows thin pages; Load and Size expose slow, heavy templates.

  4. 4

    Canonical, schema, readability

Check canonicals point where you expect, schema exists where it should, and readability supports your audience.

Expected result

You can read any audit row and know exactly what to fix and why.

Helpful tips

  • Sort by Issues to triage; filter by Noindex to review exactly what you're excluding from Google.

Common mistakes

  • Chasing a perfect zero-issue table — prioritise money pages first, then work outward.

Troubleshooting

A page shows non-indexable unexpectedly

Check for a stray noindex meta tag or a canonical pointing to another URL — both appear in the row's detail columns.
