Backlink Quality
DA, DR and spam scores tell you whether a link helps, idles, or hurts.
Why it matters: One toxic pattern can suppress a site; quality screening keeps your profile an asset.

Step-by-step
-
1
Set a quality floor
In the Backlink Finder, set Min DA (40+ is a solid floor) and Max Spam (5% or lower).
Step 1 — Set a quality floor in the Kleverish dashboard -
2
Match relevance
Filter by industry and country — a relevant medium-authority link beats an irrelevant high-authority one.
-
3
Prefer dofollow, keep balance
Filter link type as needed, but keep a natural mix; an all-dofollow profile looks manufactured.
Expected result
Every new link passes an explicit quality bar before you spend effort on it.
Helpful tips
- Spam score is a red-flag metric: anything high is a no, regardless of DA.
Common mistakes
- Chasing DA 90 links exclusively — velocity matters too, and mid-tier relevant links compound.
Troubleshooting
A placement's metrics dropped after I built it
Metrics drift. One decline is fine; a pattern on one domain means stop using it.
