Select Keywords and Tone

Primary and secondary keywords aim the article; tone keeps it in your brand's voice.

Why it matters: One primary keyword per article prevents cannibalisation and gives the AI writer a clear target.

Before you start

  • An article in the pipeline

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Set the primary keyword

One main query per article — the term this page should own.

  2. 2

    Add secondary keywords

Two to four supporting terms the article should naturally cover.

  3. 3

    Choose tone and priority

Match tone to the audience (professional for B2B, conversational for local guides) and set priority to sequence the queue.

Expected result

The article has a precise search target before a word is written.

Helpful tips

  • Check the Keywords module first — if a term is already ranking with another page, target something adjacent instead.

Common mistakes

  • Stuffing five primaries into one article; it dilutes them all.

Troubleshooting

Two articles target the same keyword

Merge them or re-target one — competing with yourself halves both.
