Run Your First SEO Audit

Five minutes after creating a project you can be reading a full technical audit of your site.

Why it matters: The first audit gives you a baseline: every later improvement is measured against it, and it instantly surfaces quick wins that justify the tool on day one.

Before you start

  • A project with your website's domain
  • Your sitemap URL (usually /sitemap.xml) — or any list of page URLs

Step-by-step

  1. 1

    Open Audit Report

In your project's module bar, click Audit Report.

  4. 4

    Read the results

Each page appears in the table with status, title/meta lengths, words, load time, indexability, canonical, schema and issues.

Expected result

A complete page-by-page audit you can filter, export and re-run — your technical baseline.

Helpful tips

  • Start with the Has Issues filter to find the quick wins first.
  • Results persist across sessions — you don't need to finish reviewing in one sitting.

Common mistakes

  • Auditing only the homepage. Rankings are won and lost on inner pages — always crawl the full sitemap.

Troubleshooting

My sitemap won't parse

Confirm the URL loads XML in your browser. WordPress sites often use /sitemap_index.xml — paste the index and Kleverish handles the rest.
